Had a great walk with Martin for my birthday. I learned a lot about Arundel that I had never known before, having visited several times before, but not really knowing much about the town itself. Everyone enjoyed the walked and Martin was very generous with his time and always willing to answer our questions - really fantastic way to spend a birthday! I can highly recommend.

Fascinating tour of the real Arundel. Check out the wall made of cannon balls and false teeth! Learn about the missing spire and statues of The Cathedral, discover the area of the once thriving dock with all its pubs and the brewery built to sustain them. This is a quirky tour which takes you around the main town but also into it's back streets, giving you a lovely glimpse into "real Arundel". Martin, our guide has lived in the town all of his life and gives a personal view of it's history, showing old photos whilst recalling his own childhood and giving facts of the changing nature of the town. If you only have an hour in Arundel do this tour, it will take you beyond the usual haunts and give you a real flavour of the town. Thank you Martin for your memories and fascinating facts. Good luck with your future venture. John and Linda.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit of the town with Martin - it was fascinating to hear the history of the buildings and the area as we walked around. Martin is very knowledgeable, and passionate about the town he grew up in. I would definitely recommend the tour!

Hi Martin I am sitting back with a pint reflecting on the fascinating time we spent with you today slowly strolling through old Arundel and taking in its special significance and charm. Your quiet passion for the town of your birth and its incredible history as well as your wealth of carefully researched detail made the buildings and hidden uniqueness come alive for us. We saw it through new eyes - those which deeply appreciate and love it. How strange life is. Who would imagine a chance meeting with a friendly postman on his rounds on a quiet country lane would lead to what we experienced. Thanks so much. We will do what we can to tell others about what you offer. DR M&M Harper

We enjoyed with two friends your tour on a very wet and chilly day. It was very interesting and we thoroughly recommend to others to experience the tour themselves. Best of luck with your venture.

I love the website. I am sure to visit Arundel again in the coming years and when I do I will do the tour for sure :-) Besides my "love" for Thomas Howard fourth Duke of Norfolk and the history of the Howard family, I've come to love the town of Arundel too very much for it's warmth and prettyness and the kindness of the people. Greetings from the Netherlands.
